To celebrate Crowne Plaza's new sponsorship deal with Dundalk FC we are offering supporters and fans a chance to stay in the same hotel as the team on match nights for just €45 per person sharing including full Irish breakfast.
Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk are delighted to be announcing a €20,000 sponsorship deal with the newly promoted Premiership team of Dundalk FC. Director of Sales, Jennifer McKenna, has been delighted to work with the recently appointed team manager, Sean Connor, in securing the partnership which will see the team players, visitors and supporters staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for all events taking place in Oriel Park.
This sponsorship deal for 2009 goes a long way to counteract the rumours that the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk is allegedly closing. These rumours which have been passing around locally are completely untrue and could be very damaging to the hotel and to Dundalk town as the hotel is a significant employer within the town.
In addition to this, the hotel is currently undergoing various investment projects to enhance the facilities here at the hotel including the development of a wedding garden at a cost of €100,000.
Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk is part of Tifco Hotels Limited who also own and operate Clontarf Castle, Crowne Plaza Dublin Northwood and Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown. The owners and management behind Tifco Hotels have been in the hospitality business since 1972 when they first opened Clontarf Castle and business has gone from strength to strength since then. Future plans for the company include the development of another Crowne Plaza Hotel at the new Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.
