We are currently recruiting for a full time Events Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with all conference and banqueting bookings from enquiry to booking and event stage.
  • Ensuring that all administration work is kept up to date and communicated to other departments.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in hotels in the events department for a minimum of 2 years is essential.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and fluent English are essential.
  • A working knowledge of OPERA or similar is a distinct advantage.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk is seeking applications for the position of Junior Sales Executive.

Opened in 2007, this 4 star landmark property in Dundalk is part of the TIFCO Hotel Group which includes Clontarf Castle, Crowne Plaza Northwood and Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown.

Chef de Partie required for the Crowne Plaza Dundalk.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Responsible for mise en place and service in the various food outlets, which include Bar food, Restaurant and Banqueting for up to 400 people.
  • Have experience at a chef de partie level in a 4 star establishment or similar standard is essential.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Candidates must have a legal right to work in Ireland.

Conference & Banqueting porter

Minimum requirements of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Duties:

  • To provide 100% quality service to guests at all times.
  • To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements.
  • Deal with guest queries.
  • Up selling the hotel outlets and products at all times.
  • Ensure food and beverage is served in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out to HACCP requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items.
  • To service the guest in a friendly and polite manner at all times.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • To ensure accurate set up of all meeting rooms.
  • To adhere to all cash and stock procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous conference & banqueting experience, ideally in a 4/5 star large hotel.
  • Be a friendly, welcoming person.
  • Have knowledge of conference & banqueting set ups.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
