Food & Beverage Assistants - Restaurant

The Person:

We are looking to recruit a bubbly, friendly, smiling individual who is passionate about people and providing superb guest service to work in our Restaurant.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have previous experience in a hotel in 4 / 5 star hotel in Restaurant Service.
  • Must have excellent customer care skills.
  • Must have knowledge of drinks / menus and service techniques.
  • Must have excellent customer care skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards.
  • Must be knowledgeable of food and drinks service standards..
  • Must have experience in breakfast.
  • Must be willing to work shift work, mornings and evenings.
  • Must be knowledgeable of open and closing procedures in relation to restaurant set up and service.
  • Have experience in food service and presentation.

Chef De Partie

The Person:

We are looking to recruit a friendly, dedicated individual, with attention to detail, who is passionate about food and providing excellent food in bar and restaurant.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have previous experience in Bar, Banqueting and Restaurant preparation.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player.
  • Knowledgeable with food styles and menus in a la carte preparation and presentation.
  • Must have full knowledge of HACCP regulations and ensure this is maintained each day.
  • Must have previous 4 / 5 star hotel food preparation experience.
  • Must have excellent standards in food production, presentation and taste.
  • Must be capable to assist junior commi chefs.
  • Must ensure all food for bar is prepared and served to hotel standards at all times.
  • All candidates must be available to work both early morning and evening shifts.

Kitchen Porter

Reports to: Ex Chef, Ex Sous Chef & Sous Chef

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience in a 4 / 5 star hotel in a busy kitchen.
  • Have good communication and presentation skills.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Have previous deep cleaning experience.
  • Must have previous experience and knowledge of HACCP.
  • Have previous food preparation experience.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To comply with HACCP at all times.
  • To ensure all departmental checklists are completed and checked by supervisor before going of duty.
  • To carry out departmental standards in accordance with the Game Plan Manual.
  • To maintain own working area tidy and in good shape.
  • The concept of the "internal customer" is of particular importance to this role as the majority of the interaction will be with team members. The kitchen Steward will need to carry out his/her duties in accordance with the procedures governing the internal customer.
  • To support the kitchen team in crunch periods or as requested by Department Managers.
  • To ensure efficient service to internal customers at all times.
  • To identify reasonable needs in regards to tools and utensils to carry out your job in order to meet and exceed all standards.

Linen Porter / Housekeeping Assistant

Reports to: Floor Supervisors/ Accommodation Manager

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in 4/5* Hotel essential.
  • Linen porter experience necessary.
  • Housekeeping experience desirable.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To clean bedrooms, corridors, storerooms, laundry room and the front of house areas as required in accordance with departmental standards and checklists.
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness of any additional items that may be added to guest bedrooms, public areas, back of house areas.
  • To maintain and replenish the laundry room ensuring that all items are stored in a neat and organised manner.
  • To organise and collect laundry on the bedroom floors.
  • To carry out any additional cleaning as deemed necessary by the accommodation manager.
