The Person:

We are looking to recruit a standards focused, friendly, smiling individual who is passionate about people and providing superb guest service to work in our Accommodation Department.

Duties:

  • To carry out the cleaning of the bedrooms to 4 star standards
  • Cleaning public areas and corridors to the hotel standards
  • To check all quality of linen
  • To report any issues of maintenance to the Accommodation supervisor
  • Ensure all checklists are completed
  • Up keep of all public areas to 4 star standards
  • Maintain key security at all times
  • To ensure guest satisfaction at all times
  • To adhere to all health and safety standards at all times

Sales Co-ordinator

Crowne Plaza Hotel Airport are seeking a full time Sales Co-ordinator.

Responsibilities for Sales Co-ordinator Role:

  • To ensure all company profiles are updated and maintained in Opera.
  • To assist in the planning and implementation of the sales and marketing plan for the hotel.
  • To assist with Fam trips, loyalty events, site inspections, etc.
  • To ensure all administration work is complete, follow up calls, research calls, rate contracts, etc.
  • To communicate all negotiated rates to reservations, front office and accounts.
  • To assist with updating and responding to social media outlets on a daily basis.
  • To update corporate grid on a weekly basis.
  • To become familiar with all LNR accounts to have the knowledge to respond to queries in the absence of the DOS.
  • To become familiar with IHG Merlin Intranet site, particularly those applications related to Sales & Marketing.
  • To ensure all Crowne Plaza RFP's are completed on time.
  • To be fully aware of our competitors and their rates.
  • To research business in competitor hotels – both corporate & conference via telesales, board-spotting and online research.
  • To assist with Christmas Party night sales.
  • To manage Business Club booker loyalty programme.
  • To provide support in other areas of the hotel as necessary.
  • To carry out any reasonable request from senior manager.
  • To attend weekly yield meetings with all minutes actioned.
  • To prepare reports for monthly group Sales & marketing meeting.
  • To manage websites for the hotel ensuring web pages, content, photos etc are always up to date.
  • To assist in the organisation of Wedding Fairs.
  • To assist with loyalty drops to local corporate accounts.
  • To identify black out dates and upcoming events in Dublin.
  • From time to time it may be necessary to work at or assist other group hotels or TIFCO subsidiaries.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least one-year's experience in an administrative role
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint
  • A full, clean driver's license is essential
  • Prior hotel experience is adventagous

Food and Beverage Assistant

Duties:

  • To provide 100% quality service to guests at all times.
  • To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements.
  • Deal with guest queries.
  • Up selling the hotel outlets and products at all times.
  • Ensure food and beverage is served in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out to HACCP requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items.
  • To service the guest in a friendly and polite manner at all times.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • To ensure accurate orders of all food and beverage requirements.
  • To adhere to all cash and stock procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous receptionist experience, ideally in a 4/5 star large hotel.
  • Be a friendly, welcoming person.
  • Have knowledge of food and beverage offerings in a bar.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.

Chef De Partie

Reports to: Executive head Chef

Experience & Qualifications

  • HACCP Trained
  • Chef qualification in a recognised college
  • 3-4 years restaurant and banqueting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent menu and food knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bar and banqueting food production and service.
  • Training of junior chefs.
  • Must ensure all food for bar is prepared and served to hotel standards at all times.
  • All candidates must be available to work both early morning and evening shifts.
  • Assist on buffet food stations when required.
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP.
  • Ensure the food preparation areas are kept clean and cleaned after service.
  • Update the head chef on any stock items needed.
  • Ensure that all food is stored to the Correct standard.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the correct order from guests bearing in mind all dietary requirements.
