Food and Beverage Assistant

Duties:

  • To provide 100% quality service to guests at all times.
  • To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements.
  • Deal with guest queries.
  • Up selling the hotel outlets and products at all times.
  • Ensure food and beverage is served in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out to HACCP requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items.
  • To service the guest in a friendly and polite manner at all times.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • To ensure accurate orders of all food and beverage requirements.
  • To adhere to all cash and stock procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous receptionist experience, ideally in a 4/5 star large hotel.
  • Be a friendly, welcoming person.
  • Have knowledge of food and beverage offerings in a bar.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.

Chef De Partie

Reports to: Executive head Chef

Experience & Qualifications

  • HACCP Trained
  • Chef qualification in a recognised college
  • 3-4 years restaurant and banqueting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent menu and food knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bar and banqueting food production and service.
  • Training of junior chefs.
  • Must ensure all food for bar is prepared and served to hotel standards at all times.
  • All candidates must be available to work both early morning and evening shifts.
  • Assist on buffet food stations when required.
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP.
  • Ensure the food preparation areas are kept clean and cleaned after service.
  • Update the head chef on any stock items needed.
  • Ensure that all food is stored to the Correct standard.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the correct order from guests bearing in mind all dietary requirements.
